Bhubaneswar: In celebration of World First Aid Day 2025, the 108 Ambulance team organized an Emergency First Responder Training Program at the Air Force Selection Centre.
The event saw participation from Group Captain Sanjay Pattnaik and Sabyasachi Biswal, the State Head of 108 Ambulance, who emphasized the service's impact since its inception in Odisha on March 5, 2013.
Pramit Priyadarshan Panda, a certified trainer, led the training sessions for Air Force personnel, focusing on emergency situations like heart attacks, fainting, breathing issues, bleeding, and various types of bites, including those from snakes. The training included practical exercises and live demonstrations.
A significant emphasis was placed on CPR training, with officials advocating for the expansion of such programs across the state to improve emergency preparedness.
